HOT STONE MASSAGE
Hot stone massage can be the “cherry on top”, that little something extra for an already delightful experience. This specialty treatment allows the body to warm up, and relax right from the beginning.
What To Expect
As you snuggle into the soft sheets and heated table you can begin to let go of the outside world. This is your time to just... be... Throughout this full body massage, the hot stones will be used to work deep into those areas holding stress and tension.
Included in our hot stone treatment is a hot and cold stone face massage. If you are experiencing sinus inflammation, tension in your jaw, or a headache, receiving hot and cold stone face massage can bring you much relief. A lavender and chamomile heat pack will also be placed over your belly, this can help calm your stomach and nerves.
As you can imagine with the use of hot stones, a heated table, and a heated herbal pack, your body will be experiencing a lot of heat. This is great for ridding your body of toxins, as your body may begin to perspire. The colder months of the year make this a very desirable treatment to get. It brings heat deep into the body even warming up the bones. To fully benefit from this “head to toe” hot stone therapy it is best to make sure you are properly hydrated prior to receiving the massage.

Testimonials
The stones really helped me feel a deep massage without the normal pain that comes with it! I will be back to see you again the new year for sure! |
Recently I had a 90 minutes hot stones massage and it was really deep in my muscles but relaxing at the same time I know it was deep not because it hurt me but because I felt it in my body for 2 days. I slept like a baby after the massage. I will be back to see you again the new year for sure! |
Lilah's Hot Stone Massage is my new favorite treatment. I was so released I drifted off to sleep for a bit, which is pretty rare for me. In July of this year I was in a car accident and have vertebral rotation that causes aches and pains all over my body almost everyday. After my treatment my entire body was relaxed and calm, I felt no tension or pain. Later that night I slept like a baby. I HIGHLY recommend Lilah! |
More about Hot Stone Massage
"Stone massage is an ancient, enduring form of therapeutic bodywork using heated and cooled stones as extensions of the hand... Pointed, textured stones are used as tools for deep sports massage. Round, flat, warm stones are laid as balancing agents upon specific energetic points along the body, otherwise known as chakras. Smooth, velvety stones are heated in water, then glided with firm pressure along oiled, sore muscles. Cooled white quartzite stones refresh the face..., refine the pores and soothe inflamed skin... For some people, stone therapy can bring deep tissue release and alignment between body, mind and spirit. For others, it means gently allowing the heat of the stones to soften tension and melt worries away. The experience of an eloquent, deep, structurally restorative and spiritually uplifting stone massage is unsurpassed in its transformational potential."
